SI Leaders

Meet the SI Leaders: Spring 2026

Hey, my name is Parth Mulay and I am the SI leader for Anatomy. I am the first SI Leader for BIOL 212 and I started in Fall 2024. I am a third year Kinesiology major and my goal is to someday become a physical therapist. I became an SI Leader because I wanted to practice my understanding of anatomy to prepare for being a PT. I am also an intern for the Anatomy Lab and also I work as a PT aide at PRN Physical Therapy. I am from Hayward, CA up in the Bay Area where I grew up my entire life. Some of my favorite hobbies are hiking and photography, as well as volleyball. I’ve played volleyball for 10 years and I am a setter. I love playing outdoors on the sand or grass.

Hi, I'm Jake! I am in my second year of studying Kinesiology while being on the Pre-Med track. I am super intrigued by all things related to health! I'm from Northern California but was born in San Diego. This is my second semester as an SI Leader for Chem 100. I became an SI Leader because I enjoy helping others and wanted to improve my public speaking skills.

I remember taking Chem 100 and feeling a lot of uncertainty and nervousness. Attending SI Sessions gave me a sense of clarity and helped me stay on track with the course. I understand how hard chemistry is, so I try my best to form sessions that are engaging and educational.

Besides school, I enjoy playing ice hockey, hiking, running, and surfing. I’ve also been trying to learn how to golf. Additionally, I am the GBM Coordinator for the MEDLIFE club and the Public Relations Officer for the SDSU Ice Hockey team. I am also an Undergraduate Research Assistant for Dr. Rawlins in the ConCare Lab. I believe in all of you and can't wait to see you at my SI Sessions!

Hi I’m Claire! I’m from LA and I’m a second year Biology major. It’s my third semester as an SI Leader, and I became a leader because chemistry can be really interesting, but I know it can also be challenging. Outside of school, I love cooking, working out, and snowboarding. I recently made a copycat version of the Trader Joe's butternut squash mac and cheese and highly recommend it!
